Resin Bottlecapsby ~HippieKender

Artisan Crafts / Jewelry

Bottlecaps (from Mike's Hard Lemonade and Leinenkugels Honey Weiss) filled with polymer clay and topped off with resin (to make them extra shiny)!
I then took all the bottlecaps and turned them into jewelry. The necklace shown here, plus a couple pairs of earrings, and a few magnets. They were a gift to my step-sister for her birthday.
It's difficult to take a decent picture of yourself wearing a very shiny necklace.

It's fun! You should give it a try. Might want to wait until it gets warm so you can do it outside away from the kitties.

That would be neat. I did see that you can use a blow torch to fire it instead of a kiln.
